I have, over the course of the past few weeks, come to the realization that my home is….well….not what I would like for it to be. It’s more of a conglomeration of hand-me-downs, bargain finds and LOTS of clutter. I despise clutter – I mean really despise it – but with three kids and a packrat husband it tends to accumulate rapidly and then there’s no time to declutter it (Note: I’m fairly convinced that it’s the lack of time that causes the clutter to begin with – fling it here, throw it there, no time to deal with it right now!).
Well…..I have officially had it! It might take me 2 years, 5 years or perhaps even 10 years, but I WILL get my house decorated the way that I want it. This blog is more my personal space to journal the goals, ideas, before and after’s, etc. of my little “Stab at Decorating”. Perhaps someone else will get some use from it as well.
